Insulation wood, sourced and machined to your drawing

We supply electrical laminated wood and finished insulation parts to transformer builders — boards, rods, press rings and CNC-machined components. Material comes from qualified mills in Shandong, China; we control the grade, the inspection and the export paper, and you keep one English-speaking contact from drawing to delivery.

The Material

Made from nature. Engineered under pressure.

Electrical laminated wood is built from natural birch and beech veneers that are steamed, precision rotary-cut and slow-dried, coated with low-dissipation phenolic resin, then hot-pressed layer upon layer at high temperature and pressure.

The result combines the machinability of wood with the mechanical strength of an engineered material: excellent dielectric performance, dimensional stability, low moisture content and long-term compatibility with transformer oil — the ideal insulation and support material for the active part of oil-immersed power transformers.

Every batch we ship is inspected for metal contamination and internal delamination before it leaves the mill — a condition written into our supply agreements, not a marketing promise.

How Your Order Is Made

Seven steps from veneer to finished part

1

Log selection

European birch and beech logs screened one by one for defects.

2

Steaming & rotary cutting

Steamed soft, then rotary-cut into continuous, uniform veneer.

3

Drying

Slow low-temperature drying to target moisture, stress-free.

4

Resin coating

Precision roller coating with low-dissipation phenolic resin.

5

Hot pressing

Large-format hot press bonds layers into dense panels.

6

CNC machining

CNC milling, slotting and drilling to customer drawings.

7

Inspection & dispatch

X-ray metal detection and electrical testing, then packing.

Supply & Quality

Qualified mills, our inspection, your delivery date.

We work with a small group of mills in Shandong that we have audited ourselves. We set the grade, hold the tolerance on machined parts, inspect before dispatch and handle the export paperwork — so you deal with one supplier instead of three factories.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is electrical laminated wood used for?

It serves as insulation and mechanical support inside oil-immersed power transformers — press rings, spacers, lead supports and washers — and in LNG carriers and specialty industries.

Are you a factory or a trading company?

A trading company specialised in this one material. We buy from a small group of audited mills in Shandong, control the specification and inspection ourselves, and export under our own documents. You get mill pricing without managing several factories.

Which standards do you supply to?

GB/T 20634 and IEC 61061, from ISO 9001 certified mills. Every shipment is inspected for metal contamination and delamination before dispatch.

Can you machine custom parts from drawings?

Yes. We machine rings, blocks, spacers and complete insulation kits from drawings or samples, with first-article approval before the batch runs.

Do you export internationally?

Yes. We ship to transformer manufacturers worldwide and handle packing, marking, certificates and logistics. A marine-grade line for LNG carriers is in development.
